Tyson Holsters® exists for one reason: to build dependable, American-made holsters you can trust when it matters most.
Our story began in 2012 with Ken Delano — a career law enforcement officer who couldn’t find a quality holster built for left-handed carry. Instead of settling, Ken put his skills as a craftsman to work and began building custom Kydex holsters designed around real-world carry needs, comfort, and safety.
What started as one holster quickly grew into many. Ken founded Blue Line LLC and spent years refining designs, listening to customers, and solving carry challenges face-to-face at gun shows across the East Coast. His approach was simple: no shortcuts, no gimmicks — just well-made holsters that fit the firearm, the user, and the mission.
Ken believed a holster should be more than functional. He took pride in clean lines, precise fitment, and thoughtful design — often joking that he was the “Victoria’s Secret of holsters,” making something concealed look and feel exceptional. Anyone who met him remembers the craftsmanship, the honesty, and the stories.
In April 2021, Ken passed away after a brief illness. His passion for the craft and commitment to quality continue to shape everything we do.
Carrying the Legacy Forward
Later in 2021, the Tyson family acquired the tooling, inventory, and equipment from Blue Line LLC and officially formed Tyson Holsters®. In 2022, we expanded further by acquiring Huckleberry Tactical and Underdog Holsters — bringing together proven designs, experience, and innovation under one roof.
Inspired by Ken’s original concepts, Trevin Tyson developed a refined holster platform designed for versatility and adaptability. Our holsters are engineered to allow multiple attachment options in a single design — giving you flexibility without sacrificing retention, comfort, or reliability.
