In 2012, Ken Delano - a career law enforcement officer – could not find a quality holster in a left-handed configuration. Ken combined his skills as a craftsman and his passion for safe concealed carry when he began making custom kydex holsters. He began Blue Line LLC, making holsters for himself, his friends, and other law enforcement officers.
About two years later, Ken introduced his holsters to gun show customers all along the East Coast. He was adept at finding custom carry solutions for each person based on their unique needs and expanded his selection as a result.
Tragically, in April 2021, Ken passed away after a brief illness. If you were fortunate to meet him at a gun show, it was likely memorable. Each of Ken’s holsters was a work of art and created with care. He kept a vast inventory of holsters available so that he could meet a wide variety of customer requests at gun shows. He often referred to himself as the “Victoria’s Secret of holsters” because he enjoyed making beautiful a product that was usually concealed. His customers will miss his expert advice, unmatched quality work, and his dynamic storytelling.
In late 2021, the Tyson family purchased the tooling, inventory and equipment from Blue Line LLC and formed Tyson Holsters. In 2022, Tyson Holsters purchased the remaining assets of Huckleberry Tactical, as well as Underdog Holsters. Inspired by Ken’s designs, Trevin Tyson created his own unique holster design which allows for much flexibility in attachment choices in one single holster. Tyson Holsters differs itself from the rest of the industry in that all of the products that go into our holsters must be 100% USA MADE. We refuse to cut corners on quality or craftsmanship and we strive to bring you a holster that your life can rely on.
